The\u00a0<strong>WEEKNUM Formula<\/strong> in Excel is perfect for this!<\/p>\n<p>There are a couple of interesting points to take note of the\u00a0<strong>WEEKNUM Formula<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The return type parameter specifies which day of the week is used to start a new week number. For our examples, we will be using the default. But there are a number of settings that you can use:\n<ul>\n<li>1 (default) &#8211; Sunday<\/li>\n<li>2 &#8211; Monday<\/li>\n<li>11 &#8211; Monday<\/li>\n<li>12 &#8211; Tuesday<\/li>\n<li>13 &#8211; Wednesday<\/li>\n<li>14 &#8211; Thursday<\/li>\n<li>15 &#8211; Friday<\/li>\n<li>16 &#8211; Saturday<\/li>\n<li>17 &#8211; Sunday<\/li>\n<li>21 &#8211; Monday, the difference here is it uses the European week numbering system, week 1 is the week containing the first Thursday of the year as specified in <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/ISO_8601#Week_dates\" target=\"_blank\"
