Excel Slicers are very\u00a0boring looking and there are only 14 different Slicer Styles to choose from, ranging from Light to Dark and with a few colors to choose from.<\/p>\n

What if you wanted to create your own Slicer using your creative mind with super cool colors and fonts?<\/p>\n

Well you can!<\/p>\n\n

This is how you can achieve this with just a few simple steps:<\/p>\n

STEP 1:<\/strong><\/span> You need to select the Excel Slicer<\/strong> and go to the Slicer <\/em>tab<\/p>\n

\"Customize<\/p>\n

STEP 2<\/strong>:<\/span> Under the Slicer Styles<\/em> drop down, Right Click on the highlighted Slicer and choose Duplicate<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Customize<\/p>\n

STEP 3:<\/strong><\/span> Select a Slicer Element<\/em> and click on\u00a0the Format<\/strong> button;<\/p>\n

There are several Slicer Elements which can become very confusing. \u00a0I have tried to explain the different options with images in this Downloadable Workbook: Slicer elements<\/span>Slicer-Elements1.xlsx<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Make the necessary formats and then press OK<\/strong> to go out of the Modify Slicer Style<\/em> dialogue box<\/p>\n

STEP 4:<\/strong><\/span> To see the custom changes you need to select the newly created custom Slicer<\/strong> from the Slicer Styles<\/em> drop down box.<\/p>\n
