color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.myexcelonline.com\/meo-staging\/organizational-charts-in-excel\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Organizational Charts in Excel<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p>You can also extend this concept to create a Dotted Line Organizational Chart but we need to think outside the square a little bit to make this happen. \u00a0Follow these steps:<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>STEP 1:<\/strong><\/span> To <strong>insert\u00a0an Organizational Chart<\/strong> in Excel you have to go to the ribbon menu and select <em>Insert &gt; SmartArt &gt; Hierarchy &gt; Organizational Chart;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">STEP\u00a02<\/span>:<\/strong>\u00a0You can add <strong>organizational titles to each shape<\/strong> by clicking on each shape and manually entering the title you desire;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>STEP 3:<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0We then need to<strong> insert an extra line<\/strong> by going\u00a0to <em>Insert &gt; Shapes &gt; Lines &gt; Elbow Connector<\/em>;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>STEP 4:<\/strong><\/span> To make the <strong>line thicker<\/strong> you need to click on the line and go to the <em>Drawing Tools Format &gt; Shape Outline &gt; Weight &gt; 3pt<\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>STEP 5:<\/strong><\/span> To add a <strong>dotted line<\/strong> you need to click on the line\u00a0and go to the<em> Drawing Tools Format &gt;
