target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Chart using Excel<\/a> 2013. \u00a0We are going to extend this concept and add some cool looking custom chart labels to make our chart more our data and inserted symbols\u00a0\u25b2\u25bc to show a negative and positive variance<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff; #ff0000;\"><strong>STEP 2:<\/strong><\/span> In our graph\u00a0we need to select the Sales chart and<strong> Right Click and choose Add Data Labels<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a #ff0000;\"><strong>STEP 3:<\/strong><\/span> We then need to select one Data Label with our mouse and press <strong>CTRL + 1 to bring up the Format Data Labels dialogue box<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>STEP 4:<\/strong><\/span> From the\u00a0Format Data Labels dialogue box we need to select the<strong> Value From Cells box<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>only<\/strong> and make sure no other boxes are ticked<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.myexcelonline.com\/meo-staging\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/format-data-labels.png\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-2341\" #ff0000;\"><strong>STEP 5:<\/strong> <\/span>This will bring up a <strong>Data Label Range<\/strong> dialogue box. \u00a0If it does not show, then you need to select the <strong>Select Range&#8230;<\/strong> button. \u00a0From here you need to select the Variance data range and press OK.<\/p>\n<p><a
