There are a lot of Pivot Table<\/a> Styles<\/strong> to choose from when you want to change the look and feel of your Pivot Table<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

What if even with this multitude of predefined options, you still want to make your own style<\/strong>? You can easily do that by customising pivot table styles. There are a couple of ways to do this!<\/p>\n

Here is our Pivot Table:<\/p>\n

STEP 1:<\/strong><\/span> Go to\u00a0Design > PivotTable Styles<\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>and click the down arrow<\/strong> to open the options<\/p>\n

\"Customising<\/p>\n

If you want to create a new custom style from scratch, select\u00a0New PivotTable Style<\/strong><\/p>\n

STEP 2:<\/strong><\/span> If you have a starting point in mind, you can right-click<\/strong> on any style and select\u00a0Duplicate<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Customising<\/p>\n

STEP 3:<\/strong><\/span> Change the Name<\/strong> into your own preference. There are a lot of elements you can format!<\/p>\n

For our example, let us try out\u00a0First Column<\/strong>. Select that and click\u00a0Format.<\/strong><\/p>\n

STEP 4:<\/strong><\/span> Try out any formatting that you want. We can try out to change the\u00a0Fill color.<\/strong> Click\u00a0OK<\/strong><\/p>\n

STEP 5:<\/strong><\/span> You can see a preview of how it looks like. Our first column did change its fill color! Click\u00a0OK<\/strong><\/p>\n

STEP 6:<\/strong><\/span> The new style that we created is not applied yet automatically.<\/p>\n

To use that, go to\u00a0Design > PivotTable Styles\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>and select the new style that we have created<\/p>\n
