With the Field List\u00a0<\/strong>in your Pivot Table<\/a>, did you know that there are a number of customizations that you can do with it? And I remember the time when my Field List is hidden, I could not find the way on how to make it reappear. I’ll show you how below!<\/p>\n

When you create a Pivot Table in Excel, the field list should automatically appear on the right side<\/strong> of your worksheet. But what if it’s not there? No problem!<\/p>\n

STEP 1:<\/strong><\/span> Right-click<\/strong> on your Pivot Table and select\u00a0Show Field List<\/strong><\/p>\n

Or, you can go to the PivotTable<\/strong> Analyze<\/strong> tab and select Field List<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

STEP 2:<\/strong><\/span> Click on the down arrow<\/strong> and you get these options:\u00a0Move, Resize<\/strong> and\u00a0Close.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

You can either move it to anywhere on your sheet, expand the panel, or make it hidden again.<\/p>\n

STEP 3:<\/strong><\/span> Click on the\u00a0Gear icon<\/strong> and you will be able to change the layout of your Field List<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The default one we are using is the first one: Fields Section and Areas Section Stacked.<\/p>\n

Let us have a look at the other layout options!<\/p>\n
