I’m used to getting Grand Totals that only show the Total Sum in Pivot Table<\/a>. But I have a quick hack that allows me to have multiple grand totals<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

And on top of that, I can customize what value to show<\/strong>. Read on to see how!<\/p>\n

STEP 1:<\/strong><\/span> Here is our Pivot Table with multiple Subtotals. However, notice that we only have one Grand Total\u00a0<\/strong>row.<\/p>\n

STEP 2:<\/strong><\/span> Go to our data source and add a blank column GRAND TOTAL<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

STEP 3:<\/strong><\/span> Now right-click anywhere on your Pivot Table and select Refresh<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Show<\/p>\n

Now the new\u00a0Grand Total\u00a0<\/strong>column is now shown there. Drag this to ROWS<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Show<\/p>\n

You will see our new row being added here.<\/p>\n

\"Show<\/p>\n

STEP 4:<\/strong><\/span> Press the spacebar<\/strong> and then click on any other cell in the Pivot Table.<\/p>\n

\"Show<\/a><\/p>\n

STEP 5:<\/strong><\/span> Now let’s do our magic! Right-click on that new row and select Field Settings<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Show<\/a><\/p>\n

Select\u00a0Custom\u00a0<\/strong>and pick the functions that you want to display.\u00a0Click OK.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Show<\/a><\/p>\n

STEP 6:<\/strong><\/span> We do not need our\u00a0Grand Total\u00a0<\/strong>row anymore. Right-click on it and select Remove Grand Total<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Show<\/a><\/p>\n

Now you have your multiple\u00a0Grand Totals!<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Show<\/a><\/p>\n

As you can see, there is no direct way to insert multiple grand totals<\/strong> in Pivot. But you can follow the above mentioned steps and easily insert them in your report.<\/p>\n
