and one that can help you a lot is Add Percentage to Pivot Table.<\/p>\n<p>It will display the value of one item (<strong>the Base Field<\/strong>) as the percentage of another item (<strong>the Base Item<\/strong>).<\/p>\n<p>This option will immediately calculate the percentages for you from a table filled with numbers such as sales data, expenses, attendance, or anything that can be quantified.<\/p>\n<p>In this example, you have a pivot table with Sales person in the row area and the year in the column area.<\/p>\n<p><a \u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>For the <em>Base Field<\/em> pick\u00a0<strong>Financial Year.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For the <em>Base Item<\/em> pick\u00a0<strong>(previous)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>This means we want to get the\u00a0<strong>% of\u00a0<\/strong>values based on the\u00a0<strong>previous Financial Year<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Also, change the <strong>Custom Name<\/strong> into <em><strong>Percent of Previous Year<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0to make it more presentable.\u00a0Click\u00a0<strong>OK.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a numbers\u00a0are now represented as a <strong>Percentage of the Previous Year\u00a0(Year 2013<\/strong> is represented as a <strong>Percentage of Year 2012<\/strong>, and <strong>Year 2014<\/strong>
