a lot of useful\u00a0calculations under the <strong>SHOW VALUES AS<\/strong> option and one that can help you a lot is the <strong>PERCENT OF PARENT ROW\u00a0TOTAL<\/strong>\u00a0calculation.<\/p>\n<p>This is a new calculation in Excel 2010 and onwards.<\/p>\n<p>This option will immediately calculate the percentages for you from a table filled with numbers such as sales data, expenses, attendance, or anything that can be quantified.<\/p>\n<p>In the example below I show you how to get the\u00a0<em>Percent of Parent Parent Row\u00a0Total<\/em>) drop down and choose<strong>\u00a0Value Field Settings.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The goal here is for us to transform\u00a0numbers from\u00a0a decimal\u00a0format (i.e. 0.23), into a percentage\u00a0format that is more readable (i.e. 23%).<\/p>\n<p><a totality for each encapsulating\u00a0blue box i.e. <em>Quarterly Sales as a percentage of each Sales Person\u00b4s Total Sales<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a
