a lot of useful\u00a0calculations under the <strong>SHOW VALUES AS<\/strong> option and one that can help you a lot is the <strong>PERCENT OF PARENT COLUMN\u00a0TOTAL<\/strong>\u00a0calculation.<\/p>\n<p>This option will immediately calculate the percentages for you from a table filled with numbers such as sales data, expenses, attendance, or to make it more presentable.\u00a0Click\u00a0<strong>OK.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a Parent Column\u00a0Total<\/em>) drop down and choose<strong>\u00a0Value Field Settings.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The goal here is for us to transform\u00a0numbers from\u00a0a decimal\u00a0format (i.e. 0.23), into a percentage\u00a0format that is more readable (i.e. 23%).<\/p>\n<p><a make our %<em>\u00a0of Parent Column\u00a0Total<\/em>\u00a0numbers become more readable.<\/p>\n<p><a Quarters.<\/p>\n<p>All of the Sales numbers\u00a0are now represented as a <strong>Percentage of its Parent&#8217;s Subtotal <\/strong><em>i.e. Percentage of each Quarter&#8217;s Subtotal.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>You can see that the\u00a0red boxes are represented as <strong>100%<\/strong> in totality when grouped together for each Quarter (encapsulating\u00a0blue
