Have you gotten overwhelmed with the amount of Tables whenever you used Power Pivot?<\/strong><\/p>\n

As I got accustomed to Power Pivot<\/strong>, my data model expanded and the number of relationships connecting these Tables together grew to a larger amount.<\/p>\n

Fortunately,\u00a0Power Pivot\u00a0<\/strong>has the\u00a0Diagram View\u00a0<\/strong>feature, which gives you a birds eye view of your entire data model.<\/p>\n

What we will focus on is\u00a0a simple example of two Excel Tables: a\u00a0Name\u00a0<\/em>Table\u00a0<\/strong>and a Sales<\/em>\u00a0Table<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The crucial thing here\u00a0is the\u00a0relationship<\/strong> between these two tables.\u00a0The ID column\u00a0<\/strong>of the\u00a0Sales<\/em> Table<\/strong> related to the\u00a0ID column\u00a0<\/strong>of the\u00a0Name<\/em>\u00a0Table<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

You can see that each employee is uniquely identified<\/strong> by the ID number,\u00a0<\/strong>which is also used in the Sales<\/em> Table<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

To make this example easy to understand, we have\u00a0already linked\u00a0these Tables<\/strong>\u00a0to our Data Model<\/strong>, and we have already setup the necessary relationship between these two Tables<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
