Gives you the average of a group of values<\/p>\n

Formula breakdown:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

=AVERAGE(number1<\/span>, number2…<\/span>)<\/p>\n

What it means:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

=AVERAGE(the numbers you want to average<\/span>)<\/p>\n

There are times when you have to get the average of your values in your Excel worksheet and you would normally have to SUM\u00a0<\/strong>all of the values then divide it by the number of values.<\/p>\n

That’s the long process!<\/p>\n

Thankfully there is a quicker way with Excel’s\u00a0AVERAGE formula!<\/strong><\/p>\n
