Stock Data Analysis<\/strong>\u00a0is no easy feat!\u00a0 Once you have a lot of historical stock data it’s hard to visualize the trend using technical analysis.<\/p>\n

Thankfully Excel has a lot of stock charts to help you with that, and one of them is the Candlestick Chart<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

A Candlestick Chart has a vertical line<\/strong> that indicates the range of low to high prices<\/em> and a thicker column<\/strong> for the opening and closing prices<\/em>:<\/p>\n

Below is the data source that we are going to use in Excel:<\/p>\n

You need a Date<\/strong> column which should be the first column.<\/p>\n

Then this should be followed by a Open, High,<\/strong>\u00a0Low, <\/strong>and\u00a0Close column<\/b>. This is the exact order that needs to be followed<\/strong> in order to create the Candlestick Chart.<\/p>\n\n
