What does it do?<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Counts the number of cells that contain numbers<\/p>\n

Formula breakdown:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

=COUNT(value1<\/span>, [value2]…<\/span>)<\/p>\n

What it means:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

=COUNT(range of cells to check<\/span>, [additional cells to include in the check]…<\/span>)<\/p>\n

Ever had a column of data and wanted to check if all of the values contain valid numbers?<\/p>\n

It would be cumbersome to count and check them one by one, especially if you had hundreds of entries!<\/p>\n

Imagine we have the following data, we see an error, a text and a couple of numbers:<\/p>\n

Thankfully there is an easy way to count how many of these cells contain valid numbers using the Excel’s\u00a0COUNT formula.<\/strong><\/p>\n
